We create open-source software and web applications to serve a global customer base. We are looking for a confident and dynamic Warehouse Manager who is eager to make an impact on a small but growing team.
Responsibilities: Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the overall receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions
- Pull, pack and ship orders in an accurate manner
- Organize, stocks and maintain inventories
- Deliver goods for defects and damages
- Track inventory in appropriate system
- Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties
- Notify manager of problems that are not resolvable
- Resolve all other issues at the warehouse level
- Check spools on work orders
- Restock materials as and when required
- Process and package goods in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong ability to problem solve creatively by working “smarter” not “harder”
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies
- Coordinate timely and accurate shipments
- Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
- Identify and fix shipping errors
- Prepare bill of ladings and packing list
- Routing and re-routing orders
- Monitoring shipments, deliveries, timelines and costs
- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods
- Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary
- Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
- Planning future capacity requirements
- Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Motivating, Organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
- Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
- Briefing team leaders on a daily basis
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four or more years of experience in warehouse management position
- Knowledge of transport methods, costs and benefits
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong systems skills, including proficiency with integrated software applications
- Team Player
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
