Position Summary
Participate in ensuring the organized and productive flow of warehouse operations, to include but not limited to, load and unload trucks, organize and rotate inventory, monitor cooler temperatures, clean warehouse and assist inventory reconciliation in a high volume distribution center.
Essential Job Functions
- Move product utilizing material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Unload inbound trucks and store product in warehouse cooler.
- Organize and rotate product in warehouse cooler to prevent spoilage.
- Assemble and stage product orders for pre-sale and onboard sales routes.
- Load delivery vehicles based off route specifications.
- Ensure order documentation and product receipt are correctly processed according to policy.
- Clean cooler and warehouse to ensure an orderly and safe environment.
- Help research questions and resolve any discrepancies during monthly CEDI (warehouse) inventory reconciliation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 2 years warehouse experience
- Fluent in Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Experience and certification with materials handling equipment, including but not limited to, pallet jack and forklift
- Experience in food products
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for a full shift of at least 8 hours.
- Able to climb up/down, in/out of truck body.
- Can repeatedly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
- Can repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.
- Able to repeatedly move 75 pound load on a cart/hand-truck without assistance.
Work Environment
- Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34˚ F for prolonged periods of time.
