About New Morning School:
New Morning School is a Parent Cooperative school serving students from Preschool through 8th grade. Our school is located in Plymouth, Michigan and attracts students from the surrounding areas including Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Canton, Farmington Hills and Novi. The school program was designed by our founder, Elaine Kennedy, with the stages of cognitive development in mind, allowing students to grow and learn in a way that recognizes their strengths and develop their areas of growth. All classes are structured in a multi-age setting, utilizing project-based learning as a key component of instruction. We are a neuro-inclusive environment where teachers and students enjoy a 1:12 teacher to student ratio and a 1:4 adult to student ratio in Preschool and Primary levels. Our parent co-op program is robust and we enjoy a community atmosphere where parents and staff work together to make New Morning a top-notch learning experience.
NMS is committed to providing an inclusive and innovative learning environment for middle school students. We believe in project-based learning and are dedicated to supporting students in their academic and personal growth in a small school environment. Students experience leadership roles and learn about themselves, while developing their executive skills to prepare them for success in high school and beyond.
