Position Summary:
Weyco Group Inc., an international distributor of footwear located in Glendale, is hiring a Wholesale Analyst Lead. The role involves assisting the wholesale division in creating analytics solutions and performing data analyses for the portfolio of Weyco Group brands.
Summary:
The Wholesale Analyst will work directly with the Business Insights & Growth Marketing Manager, Weyco Group brand presidents and their respective sales teams, the Weyco Group Chief Operating Officer and other key stake holders to align wholesale business goals with analytics needs to find opportunities for growth and optimization.
Essential Functions:
- Create and manage existing reporting dashboards and online tools, while creating new reporting views & dashboards.
- Analyze the wholesale business and complete ad hoc requests to provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in learning new tools to help analyze data, visualize business trends and outline recommendations.
- Supports salesforce and other departments in figuring out strategies to help measure and analyze wholesale account data, while finding opportunities for account optimizations.
- Lead various technical, data projects to enhance our current wholesale analytics toolset.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in data analytics.
- Bachelor's Degree required in related field preferred (Business, Data Analytics, Marketing or Statistics).
- Background in retail or wholesale environment is preferred.
- Analytical thinker with strong aptitude for retail math and forecasting.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are also essential, as the candidate will need to communicate effectively with all levels, including management, multiple sales reps and retail partners.
- Flexible team player, capable of prioritizing workload and juggling multiple concurrent projects and deliverables.
- Self-motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic, bringing energy and excitement to the role.
- Background in Power BI or SPS software preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
