Position Summary:
Responsibilities include assisting Customer Team (Sales & Engineering group) in product sampling for product request processing. This includes managing sample inventory, tracking customer inquiries and requests, monitoring sample fulfillment, logistics coordination, supporting Inside Sales Coordinators with day-to-day business, and on occasion doing technical projects for the Engineers. This role will potentially interface with customers.

Interface with Sales and Engineering team to complete assigned tasks. This may include both Sales and some Engineering projects to complete.
- Package and ship customer sample requests internationally and domestic

Drive to customer and supplier locations throughout the Detroit Metro Area for part pickup/drop-off

Completing Inventory Management Projects
- Managing Sample Inventory which includes ordering, cutting materials, labeling materials, and organizing sample shelves

Assist in Quoting Materials to Customers

Assist in processing ECR’s for New Slit Widths/Existing Part Numbers and Samples

Assist in maintaining Customer Database/Part Numbers

Assist in managing Customer Master Pricing/Consignment Pricing

Assist in updating Customer Forecasts
- Follows all safety rules and procedures in the performance of this position’s duties and reports any unsafe practices to the supervisor.

Currently enrolled for a bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant field required.

Organized, and demonstrated ability at managing multiple projects on daily basis.

Ability to drive to customer and supplier locations throughout the Detroit Metro Area.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.
