Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Teach basic academic skills such as counting, letter recognition, and shapes.
- Incorporate creative arts, music, and movement into daily lessons.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Familiarity with state licensing regulations for daycare centers.
Note: Experience in tutoring, math, child welfare, or physical education is a plus but not required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
