Help adolescents recover from mental health and substance use challenges at an 23-bed residential treatment center on a beautiful 100-acre horse farm in Killingworth, Connecticut. The Killingworth team includes: psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, wellness coordinators, academic advisors, operations staff, kitchen staff, and more.
Turnbridge is looking to hire a LPN for this program, where your skills and care transform young people’s lives.
Primary job duties include:
- First and foremost, provide the best medical care to every patient, under the direction and supervision of licensed nurses.
- MUST posses an active Connecticut Medication Administration Certification through the Department of Social Services (DSS) to apply.
- Administer medications to residents and accurately documents MAR, doctor’s orders, as indicated.
- Observe residents for expected side effects of medication and has knowledge of potential hazards of medications and applies applicable precautions.
- Accurately administers PRN medications under guidance of RN and/or APRN.
- Provide support to nursing team for any resident’s medical needs.
- Take vitals and weights of residents.
- Conduct accurate documentation of all duties.
Please note: familiarity with DCF regulations is preferred but not required.
