We are looking for a Regional Business Development Director professional to oversee business development regions for local Skilled Nursing facilities .
We rely on the Business Development team’s expertise to build and grow census and quality mix by developing referral relationships with existing customers and developing new business. This person maintains a thorough knowledge of the center's products and services, acuity capabilities, and physician relations.
- They invest a minimum of 80% of work time on face-to-face referral development completing sales calls to physicians, hospital and medical professionals, community, managed care, and other related contacts.
- Meets weekly with Administrators or department heads to discuss marketing issues.
- Assist center marketing team in identifying niche opportunities, market diversification, and market share strategies.
- The liaison part of the role is responsible for managing leads in primary referring hospitals and ensuring a smooth discharge process for patients transitioning from a hospital setting to our centers. Additionally, the liaison will develop strong relationships with the key referral hospital personnel and identify new opportunities for partnering and growth.
- This person maintains an educated understanding of all-payer sources and their impact on revenue.

You have the following qualities:
- a minimum of 2 years of actual sales/marketing experience
- confidence with the utilization of mobile computing technology;(Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook);
- ability to build lasting relationships within the medical community, including other healthcare providers, discharge planners, physicians, and staff in order to facilitate referrals and admission to our facility
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations preferred.
- Preferable candidates are already known in Polk County and surrounding counties.
