*What You’d Be Doing
* Supervising the F
- t of House and Office Services teams, ensuring efficient pr
ct assignment and task prioritization.
* Impleme
ing and refining office policies and procedures to boost operational efficiency.
* Managing our firm’s accounts and making sure everything runs smoothly by issuing checks to clients, medical providers, vendors, and employees.
* Overseeing payroll, handling disbursements, and verifying insurance checks.
* Keeping our bank and credit card statements accurate and up-to-date.
* Coordinating with our CPA for tax prep, handling collections, and making sure we comply with financial regulations.
* Keeping detailed financial records and ensuring our general ledger and trust balances are correct.
* Producing weekly financial reports with QuickBooks and Excel, resolving financial questions, and managing day-to-day admin tasks.
* Helping with onboarding, new hire orientation, and departure processes for attorneys and staff.
* Acting as a go-between for management and employees, addressing requests, and resolving employee relations issues.
* Scheduling appointments with precision and attention to detail.
*You’re Probably a Match If You Have:*
* At least 5 years of experience in operations management or accounting, and bookkeeping.
* Expertise in QuickBooks and familiarity with payroll processing.
* A keen eye for detail and a history of accurate work.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work, unafraid to ask questions and committed to thoroughness.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly.
* Flexibility to adjust hours and work to meet business needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* The ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
