Overview: The LBS will deliver ABA services to clients (ages 2-21), including assessment, treatment planning, and parent training. Responsibilities include supervising RBTs, participating in agency training, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field
- Experience in school and home-based settings
- Proficient in behavior management, instructional skills, and interpersonal relations
- State of PA Behavior Specialist License
- Flexible availability and reliable transportation
- Current certifications (CPR, First aid, mandated reporter)
Responsibilities:
- Develop agency training on ABA, teaching strategies, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct assessments and develop behavior strategies
- Provide ongoing training and supervision to paraprofessional staff
- Ensure timely submission of paperwork and maintain data collection systems
- Develop behavior plans focusing on skill development
- Collaborate with treatment team members and maintain communication
- Stay updated with professional development and research findings
- Maintain data, paperwork, and communication between staff and families
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in NET and DTT programming
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to quickly respond to calls, texts, and emails
- Establish rapport with clients and parents
- Strong time management skills
- Familiarity with copiers, phone systems, laminators, and office materials
Credentialing Requirements:
- Clearances (dated within 1 year):
- PA Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
- PA Act 34 Pennsylvania State Criminal Clearance
- PA Act 114 FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- PA Act 47 National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Clearance
