Responsibilities
- Simulation of torque blending in parallel hybrid system.
- Controller/logic tuning for fuel consumption, charging and vehicle range.
- Thermal models of power electronics, batteries, and powertrain components.
- Battery Management System modeling.
- Multidomain powertrain models coupling engine, e-machine, batteries, and electronic components.
- Development of toolsets for evolving architectures.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Master’s degree preferred
- Simulation experience using MATLAB/Simulink required.
- 1+ years of related experience
- Proven history in the development, correlation, operation, and maintenance of analytical toolsets.
- Experience in interrogation and manipulation using 3D Modeling software
- Experience preferred on commercially available and proprietary software.
- Automotive and Heavy-Duty vehicle experience required. Military land vehicle experiences preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and components
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
- Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.
