Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of French and other breads
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bread maker/baker or in a similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Proficiency in using knives and other baking tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
