WHO YOU ARE
The Field Trainer, reporting directly to the Director of Training, will deliver core training to the field managers, franchisees and teams to provide them with the operational skills necessary to successfully run a Bonchon restaurant using company best practices. This is a road warrior role and will involve travel all throughout the US.

THE ROLE
· Take a leadership role in New Restaurant Openings including pre-arrival preparation, communication and guidance, training of managers and team members on each job code, assisting in promotional events on or around the opening of the restaurant and providing post-opening support to the restaurant, franchisees and team members
· Collection and distribution of key data to the leadership team and the brand for New Restaurant Openings and training assignments
· Execute Bonchon’s highest standards of hospitality and operational execution
· Proactively train and execute programs to assure the achievement of systemwide goals and standards
· Serve as a subject matter expert for the development and execution of training content and manuals
· Create long-term success for restaurants, franchisees, and management
· Coach and provide ongoing training for restaurant teams and managers
· Work in existing restaurants in a management capacity when there are no training assignments to run shifts and transfer knowledge to existing staff
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Ability to effectively lead training teams
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task
· Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
· Ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for items needing attention
· Ability to travel extensively – up to 85% travel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· High School diploma or GED is required
· Prior successful New Restaurant Opening and in-restaurant training experience preferred
· 2-4 years of high-volume restaurant and kitchen management experience
· QSR or fast-casual dining experience is preferred
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a sense of urgency
· Passionate about and thrives on training and development of teams
