Sales Manager
About the position: This position will be responsible for driving regional and national sales by identifying new opportunities for outreach and brand building for our digital pathology unit.
You must be authorized to work in the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearhead and execute sales strategies to solidify our position as a brand name establishment and expand our brand reach into new applications and untapped markets
- Drive marketing strategies together with the global product marketing team, coordinating tactical efforts for your local regions as well as providing input for the global brand strategy
- Aggressively expand the footprint and recognition of our innovative digital and AI solutions in your market segment
- Manage and retain our existing customers while establishing new relationships for continued growth
- Provide direct, personal communication to current and prospective customers, building direct-to-customer partnerships with each new opportunity
- Bring the needs and product feedback of our customers directly to the product management team, advise on ongoing design and feature development and help direct pricing strategy
- Create automated workflows for customer service processes (i.e. FAQ repository, automated email responses, etc.)
- Attend relevant tradeshows and onsite demonstrations as required
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years in a client-facing Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales role
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Physics, Education, or a related engineering field preferred
- Proven experience with technology-based, device, or enterprise sales
- Process-oriented: You delight in setting up strong, repeatable processes for yourself and for others to make an organization's sales cycle more efficient
- Relationally-oriented: You have a proven track record of cultivating strong internal and external relationships via diplomatic and empathetic engagement, even under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through: You will interact with a variety of decision-makers in this role; you understand that you are accountable to both the internal product team and the external customer for any promises you make during the selling process
- Intellectual curiosity: You should have the technical experience to understand our products as well as the adaptability to learn the language, workflows, and needs of our customers
- Extreme ownership: You have a get-things-done attitude and are willing to wear multiple hats in an organization
- Coachability: You are committed to continuous learning and self-improvement
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to travel
- Occasionally moves items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Position eligible for commission
