- Must be capable of working around aggressive animals.
- Must be capable of working around all types of prescription medications.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be capable of working around all types of animals: Cats, Dogs, Birds, and Exotics.
- Must be physically capable of handling dogs weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Must be physically capable of bending, twisting, stooping, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below head, climbing, squatting, standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting, listening, and talking.
- Must be able to use hands to handle and feel and have complete finger dexterity.
- Must be capable of performing simple mathematical equations, proper medical dosages, and fluid rates.
- Must be capable of working around blood.
- Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be capable of working around noxious odors.
- Must be capable of working with difficult or distraught clients.
- Must be capable of being exposed to X-ray radiation during X-ray procedures.
- Must be capable of working in the presence of anesthetic gases.
- Must be capable of multitasking.
