Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Site Superintendent to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will oversee all electrical aspects of our construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Project Oversight:
- Manage and supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on construction sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure electrical work meets project requirements.
- Monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting safety and quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Resource Management:
- Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical installations.
- Maintain inventory and oversee distribution of electrical supplies to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including scheduling and quality control of subcontracted electrical work.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and other project documentation as required.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate project status and issues to project management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety on site.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and complies with local and national electrical codes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with expertise in electrical systems and installations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
