T. White Parker is seeking a strategic-minded and detail-oriented financial consultant to join our team on a federal IT management and governance engagement. This role involves conducting various financial related analyses to discover trends, estimate risks, and forecast business outcomes in a federal IT arena as well as using tools and approaches for financial modeling of IT infrastructure and investments.
The ideal candidate is knowldegable in federal IT governance including capital planning, IT portfolio management, and enterprice architecture and can effectively conduct technical and financial analysis to support hypothetical scenarios, understand and work with IT infrastructure and investment based financial models, provide recommendations on options that improve the monitoring and managing of operational and financial performance of IT investments, create feasible plans based on the analyzation of financial documentation, and conduct tests to determine performance and financial compliance.
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze products and procedures for compliance, accounting principles, and system standards
- Develop detailed, complex financial reports for IT investments and IT management
- Create in-depth budget variance analyses
- Conduct cost benefit analyses in support of IT investments
- Performing financial and technical feasibility analysis to support planning through “what-if-” based scenarios in support of IT investments
- Develop business cases
- Use tools and approaches for financial modeling of IT infrastructure and investments
- Conduct resource forecasting
- Conduct financial compliance reviews
- Present analysis results, findings, and recommendation to senior leadership
