Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for early learners.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom that fosters creativity and learning
Qualifications:
- DCFS qualified teacher
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for young learners
- Curriculum development expertise tailored to early childhood education
- Passion for child welfare and advocacy for children's rights
