Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team. The Assembly Worker will be responsible for assembling various components of grip equipment, stands, and hardware, ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble grip equipment, stands, and hardware components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts and subassemblies.
- Inspect parts and components for quality and accuracy before and after assembly.
- Identify and report any product defects or assembly issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies during assembly tasks.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to assembly processes and product specifications.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing parts and materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or production manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs occasionally, 15-25lbs regularly
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Wage Range for the position is dependent on experience. - $19-$23 per hour.
