SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. The Manufacturing Technician will play a crucial role in assembling medical systems and surgical instruments while upholding quality standards and safety protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, test, and inspect production parts
- Meticulously check and complete paperwork (Travelers, Inspection Reports, Engineering Drawings, etc.) associated with manufacturing orders
- Adhere to production schedules and address any potential setbacks
- Work closely with engineering team to implement new production techniques
- Test product quality and conduct quality checks at each stage of the production process
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Ensure shop floor is clean and free from waste and clutter
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry safety standards
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, multimeters, and other common manufacturing equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant field is a plus
- Proficient computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40lb
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Busy work environment with frequent interruptions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
