As our Vice President of Human Resources, you'll play a pivotal role in building and leading a high-performing HR team. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with our business goals, fostering a positive and engaging work environment, and attracting and retaining top talent.
Qualifications:
- An experienced leader and human resource executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the service and manufacturing fields
- Strategic planner with sound technical skills and operational focus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree or equivalent and 15 years related experience
- Proven experience in resolving conflicts and managing complex HR issues
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance in accordance with the Armstrong Group’s strategic vision and business models.
- Translate business plans into HR strategic and operational plans
- Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans for key positions
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication
- Enhance and enforce HR policies and procedures for overall effectiveness
- Continually assess competitiveness of HR programs against comparable companies
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic direction for the organization's environmental health and safety programs
- Advise and evaluate on mergers and acquisitions activity
