TravelStorysGPS is looking for an Account Manager to develop client relationships in our target sectors and to expand our client base into enterprise sectors, including into the lodging sector.
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for building strong client relationships while selling the TravelStorysGPS suite of products. This person will be responsible for managing existing leads, responding efficiently to incoming leads, and building their own book of business. The Account Manager will be expected to work closely with others on the sales team, maintain all sales information on the company’s CRM system, knowledgeably contribute to sales strategy development, and efficiently and frequently close sales to grow the company’s revenue and client base and complete the associated documentation.
The Account Manager will frequently coordinate with the CEO, marketing team, production team and other C-level team members to ensure a full understanding of the product and keep up to date on trends in travel.
TravelStorysGPS is particularly looking for an Account Manager with experience and knowledge in the travel or other place-based sales sectors, with preferred experience selling into, marketing to, or working in the hospitality sector.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Researching, identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential sales leads and strategic and enterprise sales targets.
· Documenting all sales activity, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
· Achieving company sales metrics, activities, and personal sales KPIs
· Scheduling and conducting sales calls, including cold calling, primarily by phone.
· Utilizing the company’s internal CRM system to track personal sales performance, including contact databases, activity reporting, and sales forecasts.
· Preparing and presenting product demonstrations in person and virtually.
· Calculating and drafting accurate project and pricing estimates.
· Drafting estimates, proposals, RFPs, and statements of work.
· Creating RFPs that have a full scope of the project requested.
· Regularly attending new business development meetings.
· Building and maintaining relationships with key contacts to access new opportunities with local, regional, national, and international organizations.
· Playing an active role in supporting the strong company team.
· Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
· 1-3 years of B2B sales experience
· Familiar with Sandler Sales Techniques
· Travel industry and/or hospitality or real estate experience
· SaaS experience
