As an Account Coordinator at Glodow Nead Communications (GNC), you will support our teams across all lifestyle segments: travel, food, wine, hotel and spa, fashion, entertainment, high-end real estate, destinations, consumer biotech, and more. This is a hybrid position.
Responsible for administrative aspects of public relations activities, the Account Coordinator participates in preparing PR materials, provides administrative support to staff, drafts media reports, assists in event staffing, and contributes to outreach efforts and report writing. This is our entry-level position and the gateway to more advanced positions in the agency.

Compensation: $21.50 - $23.00/hour, depending on experience; this is a full-time position with benefits
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Draft briefing notes and media alerts
- Set up conference room for meetings; prepare materials and audio/visual needs
- Maintain and update press kits to enhance media coverage
- Handle press clippings and manage photo files; order publications
- Conduct research
- Collaborate with co-workers
- Draft reports
- Participate in brainstorming sessions on new and current business
- Work with administrative team to manage front office; answer telephones and greet visitors
- Manage and execute mailings and shipments
Knowledge and Skills Needed:
- 1-2 years’ experience in public relations or related field
- Undergraduate degree in a PR-related field a plus
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Cision preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Evolved multi-tasking ability; highly organized
- Collaborative work style
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
- Some evening, weekend and holiday work required
