ROLE OVERVIEW: Vice President of Asset Management - Aviation
The Vice President of Asset Management – Aviation manages and supports all functions essential to the productivity of the entire sales team. This includes planning, reporting, vendor program development and implementation, metrics management, and process optimization. The role also involves budgeting, cost reduction, efficiency creation, vendor management, and supporting all internal customers. This position strategically drives the function and requires a high degree of communication, collaboration, organization, and influence.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Vice President of Asset Management - Aviation
- Monitor companies repair vendors to ensure the lowest cost repairs and on-time deliveries.
- Develop, monitor, and track supplier-specific performance metrics and action plans. Analyze sales data, review statistics, identify trends, and formulate strategies.
- Manage vendors, including identifying metrics for vendor selection. Have in-depth knowledge of repair and purchase planning and process flows.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers for price, service, performance and other terms and conditions.
- Develop and support new strategic programs and projects with or in conjunction with other departments.
- Lead Strategic Procurement Group in parts purchase and replenishment strategy and formulate strategic procurement with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Resolve any difficulties arising in repair or purchase orders, parts delivery, order discrepancies, parts quality, and business terms and payment matters.
- Supervise the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) factory new parts distribution team in identifying suitable OEMs and distribution inventory, delivery, and payment terms.
REQUIREMENTS: Vice President of Asset Management - Aviation
- 8+ years in Aviation & Aerospace, specifically in Strategic Procurement, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Product Lines, and Repairs.
- Proven track record in integrating non-customer-facing activities for operational efficiency, vendor management, and managing a repair order network.
- Skilled in producing actionable data from large sets, creating and interpreting data stories for organizational implementation.
- Enthusiastic and credible, with strong communication skills and industry knowledge. Familiar with third-party sales enablement tools.
- Familiar with Quantum or similar ERP systems.
- High emotional intelligence, able to influence without authority, understanding manager and employee needs, and building strong teams.
- Agile, decisive, energetic, and confident. Works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to change.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and presentation skills. Advanced business writing and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- Effective at building trusted relationships with stakeholders. Strong customer service orientation and proactive approach.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
