Restaurant District Manager of Operations
Pay: $75,000 - $85,000

Your primary goal will be to drive profitability, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent quality across all restaurants in your portfolio.
You will provide leadership and guidance to restaurant managers and staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards. This role requires a strong combination of operational expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurants within the district, ensuring compliance with operational standards, food safety regulations, and health codes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity, and take necessary actions to achieve targets.
- Hire and train staff in all position as needed & FOH BOH. Your role is to make sure the service team are following our steps of service in each location and the kitchen cooks are following our core recipe
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess operational efficiency, food, service and cleanliness, and adherence to company and regulatory policies.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop and implement action plans for improvement.
- Financial Management: Analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, and develop strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and maximize profitability across the district.
- Monitor and manage labor costs, food costs, and other controllable expenses to meet budgetary goals.
- Review and approve budgets, capital expenditure requests, and pricing strategies for restaurants in the district.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization, providing recommendations to ownership to increase sales.
- Staff Development and Training:
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant and kitchen managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to run their operations effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to managers, fostering their professional growth.
- Implement training programs to ensure consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- As a District Manager of Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of multiple restaurants. Your leadership, operational expertise, and strategic mindset will contribute to the growth and profitability of the district while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to brand standards.
Customer Service and Brand Compliance:
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, monitoring guest feedback and taking appropriate actions to address concerns.
- Ensure restaurants maintain a consistent Russo’s Restaurant Group brand image and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional activities and maintain brand consistency in messaging and visuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication channels between the restaurant managers, shift lead and ownership and support departments.
- Conduct regular meetings with restaurant and kitchen managers restaurant team members to communicate objectives, provide updates, and address any challenges.
- Collaborate with other managers and ownership to share best practices, implement company-wide initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a multi-unit restaurant manager or district manager, overseeing multiple locations with a variety of dining settings.
- Strong restaurant and kitchen operations knowledge, including food and beverage, financial management, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire restaurant managers and staff.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned district as needed.
- Culinary experience preferred.
