We are seeking a Universal Banker (CSR) to join our community banking team! As a Universal Banker, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the new accounts system database by opening, maintaining, and closing customer accounts in accordance with operating controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures
- Provides high-level customer service in person and via telephone
- Builds trust with current and potential customers to understand their product/service needs
- Educates customers on Identity fraud
- Performs teller responsibilities in accordance with the Teller job description
- Promotes a team environment
Experience:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of retail customer service experience are required. A minimum of 1 year of banking experience is preferred.
Competencies:
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, ability to bend, squat, and kneel on occasion, ability to lift 30 lbs. consistently.
Basic computer skills required, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure.
