Job Overview:
We are seeking an Fence Installer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and be skilled in assembling and installing various types of fences. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction site. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. There is on the job training to come up to speed.
Duties:
- Assemble and install various types of fences, including metal, and chain link.
- Use hand tools, such as hammers and screwdrivers, to complete tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts and concrete forming equipment, as necessary.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering to move materials and equipment around the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with carpenters, masons, and other construction professionals to ensure the installation of fences meets the highest standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed fences to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
Skills:
- Proficiency with hand tools and masonry techniques.
- Experience with carpentry, including frame carpentry.
- Ability to assemble and install various types of fences.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving materials and equipment.
- Skill in welding and metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience working in a construction site environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently, adhering to safety regulations and standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
