Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sublimation Printing Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in the preparation, execution, and quality control of sublimation printing projects, including T-shirts, mugs, and other materials. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production, maintain equipment, and contribute to an efficient workflow.
Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Flexibility on weekends as OT is based on business needs
Key Responsibilities:
Printing Preparation:

Assist in the preparation of artwork and/or digital files for sublimation printing.

Ensure all printing materials, including substrates and inks, sublimation paper, etc. are in stock and ready for use.

Set up and maintain printing equipment, including heat presses and printers.
Printing Execution:

Operate sublimation printers and heat presses to produce high-quality printed materials.

Monitor and adjust printing parameters, such as temperature and pressure, to achieve desired results.

Perform test prints and quality checks to maintain consistency and color accuracy.
Quality Control:

Inspect printed materials for defects, color discrepancies, or imperfections.

Identify and troubleshoot issues with print quality and equipment, reporting them to the supervisor.

Ensure all finished products meet quality standards before packaging.
Maintenance and Cleaning:

Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of printing equipment.

Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs as needed.

Keep the printing area organized and free from clutter.
Inventory Management:

Assist in tracking inventory levels of printing supplies and materials.

Communicate inventory needs to the procurement team to avoid production disruptions
Team Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in printing is a plus.

Prior experience with sublimation printing equipment and processes is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Basic troubleshooting skills to address printing equipment issues.
