MUST HAVE PRIOR OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE IN A SCHOOL
Overview: As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of our school. You will oversee various aspects of school operations, including staff management, development and implementation of operational policies, procurement, student services, compliance, event coordination, and emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position at a school, be organized, detail oriented and proactive.
Staff Management:
Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and security staff.
Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Operational Policies and Procedures:
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance with standards.
Coordinate the maintenance and security of physical facilities for a safe learning environment.
Implement technology solutions for administrative and educational purposes.
Procurement and Supplies:
Facilitate the procurement and distribution of educational materials and supplies.
Oversee and submit supply orders, including facility and teacher supplies..
Submit expense reimbursements.
Liaise with current and potential school vendors.
Student Services:
Coordinate transportation services for students.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all permits and licenses are up to date and comply with guidelines.
Collect and maintain faculty and student files per Department of Health guidelines.
Event Coordination and Reporting:
Coordinate and assist with daily reporting, including attendance and after-school club participation.
Assist in the development, implementation, and enhancement of operational processes for school-wide events, after-school clubs, and field trips.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and oversee emergency preparedness plans, including safety drills and crisis management procedures.
Executive Director Support:
Work closely with controller and executive director to maintain budget.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
