Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and EMRs to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings. This is a critical role that requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Duties:
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Administer basic life support measures, including CPR and airway management
- Administer medications as directed by medical professionals
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Assist with patient transportation to medical facilities
- Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for emergency situations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience as an EMT or EMR preferred.
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Experience working in an emergency room or critical care setting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of basic life support protocols
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
