ION’s Program Manager requires managing key customer relationships and critical schedules. This role requires initiative and urgency, a high level of organization, and the capability to conduct in-depth reviews of technical drawings, specifications, and more.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide program management with an emphasis on exceeding customer expectations through teaming, partnership and collaboration
- Supplement and develop strong customer relationships to provide an excellent customer experience and promote organic growth
- Strategic planning to ensure customer requirements are met; Create and manage project schedules
- Coordinate and lead program design reviews
- Provide program communication, including PowerPoint presentations, schedules, spreadsheets and reports
- Compile and distribute program data to customers in a timely manner
- Participate in quoting
- Track and ensure resolution of material shortages or other requirements in contracts and proposals
- Daily tools can include, but are not limited to, CRM/MRP/ERP systems, MS Programs (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint), CAD systems, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree - (Electrical or Mechanical engineering background required)
Minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace industry
Knowledge of government contracting - Military-Aerospace or Space industries desired
Full and detailed understanding of the bid and proposal process
Ability to manage existing customers
Salary depends on qualifications and experience
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
