Roles and Responsibilities include
- Installation / preventive maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits at customer sites for all eM products.
- Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
- Edit/update touch-screen HMIs as necessary to accommodate for changes to equipment and products.
- Troubleshoot/update PLC programs as needed
- Maintain and calibrate controls on various equipment.
- Prepare calibration and field service reports accurately.
- Troubleshoot and repair wiring, circuits, breakers and other electrical repairs.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Read blueprints and schematics.
- Work with computer interface to monitor equipment
- Assist the Network Administrator and other IT staff in the roll-out of network, operating system and software upgrades and patches as those requirements arise
- Proactively monitor our product for any issues, investigate all reported errors and resolve issues as required.
- Identify opportunities for service and system improvement.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Education:
- Four-year degree OR equivalent controls experience.
- Qualifications – Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- The preferred candidate will have at least three (2) years of experience in the following:
- Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers
- PLC troubleshooting
- Working with and setting up DH+, Ethernet, or other types of communication networks
- PC setup and maintenance skills
