Summary:
Set up, break down, and operate video equipment including LED video screens, projectors, video monitors, connecting wires and cables and related electronic equipment for concerts, sporting events, meetings, conventions, presentations, and news conferences.
Accountability, Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Prep, install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment to record, edit, remove, deprep and transmit video
· Responsible for assembling and disassembling LED walls
· Diagnose and resolve media system problems
· Switch sources of video input from one medium to another
· Compress, digitize, duplicate, and store video data
· Operate control consoles for video
· Determine technical requirements of productions or projects
· Work with Project manager to achieve customer vision
· Collaborate with other departments regarding show needs: loading and unloading trucks
Qualification / Skills:
· Must have a basic understanding of electrical wiring and flow
· Programming skills, preferred
· Good Customer Service Skills are essential
· Must be available nights/weekends
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education / Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 3-5 years prior experience with LED video equipment
· Microsoft Office software
· Vectorworks 2015-2018 and associated Cad based software
· Knowledge of FLEX Rental Solutions software, helpful but not required
· Knowledge of CAD design, helpful
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to travel between show sites nationwide.
· Must be flexible to alternate between daytime, nighttime and weekend hours, based on event schedules.
· Performing General Physical Activities - requires considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
· Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment – Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles, or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts or passenger vehicles.
· Ability to lift 85lbs
Personal Protective Equipment:
· Rigging Harnesses, hard hats and safety vests
Condition of Employment:
· Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for company insurance purposes. CDL preferred but will consider Class C for Kansas and Class E for Missouri.
· Must submit to pre-employment and random drug testing
