Medical Assistant (Part-time)
We are looking for a Part-time Medical Assistant (new grads welcome) to work in our clinic with our multi-disciplinary team. We offer a warm inclusive environment where everyone is a valued part of the team.
We are growing and with growth comes the need to hire. We are looking to hire a reliable, friendly, Medical Assistant to perform various clinical and administrative duties and work with our staff to assure great patient care. This is a flexible part-time position.
Essential Job Functions:
· Perform CLIA waived tests, EKG and Phlebotomy
· Obtains patient’s vitals
· Prepare laboratory order forms
· Obtain patient laboratory results
· Assist Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals
· Document patient progress notes in the EMR
· Perform other clinical duties as required
· Assist with all administrative duties to include answering telephones, confirmation calls, scheduling patients, and scanning medical records
· Responsible for daily inventory level of clinical supplies

- Medical administrative support

- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to perform intake and vital signs
- Familiarity with ICD coding
