Position Summary:
The Site Safety Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a secure and compliant work environment at construction sites, industrial facilities, or other high-risk workplaces. This position is responsible for implementing safety protocols, assessing risks, and promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors. The Site Safety Manager collaborates with management to develop safety programs, monitors compliance, investigates incidents, and provides training to ensure all on-site activities meet regulatory standards and prioritize the well-being of personnel.
Activities/ Responsibilities/ Essential Duties:
- Developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinating safety training programs, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining records of safety activities and incidents.
- Participates in safety audits and compliance assessments.
- Oversee administrative tasks, such as contract negotiation, procurement, and document management, to maintain project documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from conception to completion.
- Enforce and promote a culture of safety on-site, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain high construction quality standards and ensure that work meets project specifications and client expectations.
- Maintain open and effective communication with other project manager(s), engineers, and other stakeholders.

- Collaborate with management to develop and update safety programs.
- Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and participate in safety audits.
- Promote a safety-first culture among all site personnel.
- Maintain project documentation and reports.
- Identify and resolve issues and challenges that may arise during construction, adapting to changing circumstances.

Education/ Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of related experience working in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
