QA Technician Job Overview:
2nd Shift to start at 2:30pm
Join our team as a QA Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining our quality standards. We are looking for a meticulous individual with expertise in quality assurance processes and inspections. As a QA Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and upholding product quality.
Duties:
-Monitor documentation and verification of HACCP, CCP’s, CP’s, CQP’s corrective actions
-CP metal detector verification
-Pre-operation inspections
-Monitor quality on incoming raw, finished product
-Daily GMP’s and GHP inspections
- Incident reports and corrective actions
- Oversee operation practices
-Food safety compliance monitoring (HACCP)
- Hold and released non-confirming products
- Released product after verification
- Calibration of measurements, equipment, ORP, PH meter, ect.
-ATP swabs
- Check weights, packing room temperatures, knife and glove dip sanitizer stations
- Verify labels, lots, product, used by date and equipment before start up
-Collect samples for microbiol analysis; WPO new lots, Kagome
Skills:
- Proven experience in <Quality assurance> processes
- Knowledge of <analyze>, <Vision inspection system>, and <Precision measuring instruments>
- Understanding of <HACCP>
- Proficiency in conducting <Quality audits> and <Quality inspection>
- Ability to implement effective <Quality control> measures
-Understanding of food safety and microbiological controls, testing and standards
-Knowledge of food safety programs
-Computer Literate – Microsoft
-Process validations and reporting requirements
-Able to maintain high level of confidentiality and communicate with all levels of management
