Job Description
As the
Retail Sales Representative, you will play a key role within our sales department to provide exceptional service and support to our retail customers. At the heart of this position, you will be maintaining established relationships and fostering new ones within your territory of approximately 46 Lowe’s and 81 Home Depot retail stores
within the Eastern Florida arearepresenting our Therma-Tru Doors and Larson portfolio of products.
This is a professional,
entry-level positionthat offers you an opportunity for advancement.
The
ideal candidatewould have some background in doors and building materials, strong communication skills, a focus on organization, and negotiation skills. Being
bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required. You must also be comfortable working independently and can travel
overnight approximately 5-6 nights a month.
This role is remote based out of Fort Lauderdale, West Palm, Miami, FL paying between $55-70K base annually with bonus potential and travel stipend.
What you will be doing:

Grow top-line sales within assigned territory.

Develop and execute impactful sales training programs with a focus on brand differentiators and premium sales growth opportunities.

Take ownership of the territory assigned by building relationships with the key store sales associates including store management.

Ensure all new and remerchandised stores are set on schedule with appropriate displays, signage, and pricing.

Manage a travel and expense budget while effectively meeting territory sales goals.

Build and nurture positive relationships with distributor partners to facilitate the achievement of team goals.

Work cross-functionally to develop and implement sales messaging, new product recommendations, and POP changes.

Recommend changes to the sales training and create new modules to incorporate new products, services, and programs.

Work with customer service to facilitate the completion of claim inspections and recommend corrective action/resolution.

Recommend changes to ensure proper in-aisle stock assortment to maximize sales.

Drive Pro Business by developing relationships with Retail Pro Associates, partnering with distributor sales teams to call on focus stores and implement focused sales programs, building brand awareness, and participating in retail “Pro-Events.”

Drive R&R revenue by developing and supporting Retail In-Home Sales Consultants

Ensure Therma-Tru and Larson merchandising standards are being met on each visit.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field of study is preferred, but not required

Sales experience is preferred

A history in the millwork industry is a plus including various experience with common hand tools
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 lbs., repetitive lifting of 65 lbs. and working on ladders (good balance is required).
