Elementary School Teacher 4th-6th Grade Reading & Language Arts
About us
Fairhill School
Every child has dreams, dreams of a future filled with success. For learning-different students, those dreams can seem frustratingly far away. Fairhill School is dedicated to bringing those dreams to life. When parents and teachers believe in a child and his/her natural talents, that child begins to believe too. At Fairhill, we show students how to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses, inspiring them to realize their full potential, as students and as individuals. Through a multi-faceted approach, students acquire learning skills that work for them—skills that help them grow, not only in the classroom, but throughout their lives.
Fairhill prepares students to meet future challenges. Each student’s unique talents and skills are fostered and encouraged. While the main focus is on academics, emphasis is also placed on sports, the arts and social responsibility. Fairhill offers extracurricular activities that inspire students, building self-esteem, confidence, teamwork and responsibility. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, track and field, softball, baseball, bowling, cheerleading, choral music, band, art and drama are among the opportunities offered to students. The National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, International Thespian Society and National Art Honor Society are honorary groups to which qualified students may be elected. Student Council allows students to participate in planning activities, special events and community service projects. Field trips are scheduled in direct correlation with a specific subject area, allowing for enhanced learning experiences beyond the classroom. Fairhill also offers summer programs. For students in grades 1 through 8, offerings include academic reinforcement and enrichment classes, as well as sports and fine arts camps. Students in grades 9 through 12 can take courses for credit toward graduation. The summer program brochure is available on the Fairhill website.
