Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for a
Part-Time Project Manager for a new remote opportunity supporting our clients at Prince George's County Government. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface and point of contact (POC) with County project authorities and representatives on technical and contract administration issues and will manage a small organizational assessment team. The Project Manager will supervise project operations by developing management procedures, planning and directing project execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. The Project Manager manages and controls financial and administrative aspects of the project with respect to contract requirements, enforces work standards, and assigns schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and submit project deliverables including staffing plans, quality control plans, project schedules, and monthly status reports.
- Meet with the County project management team and stakeholders regularly to discuss and coordinate work, plans, and contract requirements.
- Meet with the project team to coordinate activities, identify and remediate risks, and plan work schedules.
- Ensures clear and consistent communication between the project team, the County, and Blue Sky corporate management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of five (5) years of work experience related to project management support.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal, state, or local government clients.
- Knowledge and prior experience in planning, execution, and closing of a project.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- A Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification is highly desireable.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in business management from an accredited institution
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract.
- Must successfully complete a Blue Sky and customer background screening.
