Job Summary:
A plastic surgery office with associated surgery center is seeking a dedicated experienced Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in providing quality patient care in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Administer medications under physician's orders.
- Document patient information in electronic health records accurately.
- Schedule patient appointments and tests.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries professionally.

Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Proficiency in basic life support.
- Experience in urgent care, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
- Knowledge of coding systems for billing purposes.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care, especially with geriatric patients.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices.
