PURPOSE:
This position focuses in part on the provision of direct assessment and therapy services, as well as the provision of supervision and oversight of doctoral psychology trainees. The Project Manager will share in the administrative oversight of the testing and training program, will provide clinical services within both the psychology and outpatient departments, and participate in agency-wide relevant initiatives, in consultation with and under the supervision of the Director of Training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Administer and conduct assessments, including psychological evaluations and autism diagnostic assessments, and complete all related reporting.
· Provide supervision to doctoral psychology interns, primarily in the area of assessment. Responsible for maintaining clinical and administrative oversight of all supervisee work including signing off on documentation.
· Review and provide feedback for doctoral psychology interns’ evaluation reports and assume legal responsibility for the finished report.
· Assist with meeting APA and APPIC requirements.
· Assist in the psychology trainee seminar series, particularly the assessment case conference, and provide trainings to Clifford Beers Clinic staff and trainees on a variety of topics such as assessment/evaluation, differential diagnosis, integration of screening tools into clinical work, evidence-based treatment, and other areas of expertise.
· Provide training to staff and trainees on specific assessment measures, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS).
· Assist in the administrative oversight of the testing program, including screening referrals, ensuring compliance with procedures, creating and implementing program improvement initiatives, etc..
· Provide consultation with clinical staff and other providers regarding families as requested.
· Regularly participates in staff meetings, team meetings, case conferences, grand rounds and in-service training programs as a vital team member of the agency.
· Provide leadership in peer groups, specialized teams, and committees as required; participate in the agency-wide initiatives.
· Participate in professional development activities.
· Assist in the recruitment of clinical interns and maintain working relationships with graduate schools. Comply with and participate in the APPIC match each year.
· Maintenance of accurate electronic clinical records.
· Perform related and appropriate duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology; other areas of emphasis may be considered.
· Completion of an APA accredited graduate program.
· Completion of an APPIC registered internship, preferably APA accredited.
· License to practice psychology in the state of Connecticut.

TRAVEL:
· Thisrole may require travel throughout the State of Connecticut.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
