Group fitness classes, where the program is centered around the fundamentals of boxing, allow athletes to progress not only physically but also mentally through boxing fitness.

JOB POSITION
Boxing Coach & Group Fitness Instructor
ROLE OBJECTIVES
As a boxing coach and fitness instructor, you play a crucial role in leaving a positive impact on the members. You lead high-energy workouts, provide motivation and coaching, and have the ability to articulate correct form and movement during the workout. Your goal is to ensure a great experience for our members during and outside the workouts, helping them progress and build confidence through skill-building in boxing fitness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare diligently before each class
- Arrive 20 minutes before class to ensure the studio is ready to receive members
- Demonstrate and articulate boxing and fitness exercises
- Co-instruct and -coach group fitness classes of up to 27 people, and motivate members while leading them through a safe, coordinated, and dynamic workout experience
- Holding mitts during class
- Light office management duties before and after class
- Cleaning and organizing the studio for the next class
- Manage client relations with the CRM system
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Genuine, hospitable, and confident personality
- Passion for (group as well as private) fitness coaching
- Eager to learn and develop personally and professionally
- Professional and exceptional work ethic
- Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and group exercise principles
- Thrive in a team environment as well as working well independently

- Flexible availability in working hours throughout the week

REQUIREMENTS
- Nationally-recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACSM, etc.)
- Current CPR and AED certification
- At least two years experience in Boxing Training or Boxing Fitness
- At least one year of experience in holding mitts with proper form
- At least one year of experience as a Group Fitness Instructor
- At least one year of experience in doing group circuit training
