We are currently seeking a skilled Wooden Truss Builder/Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assemble wooden trusses for roofs and floors according to design specifications and blueprints.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all trusses meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
- Inspect completed trusses for accuracy and structural integrity.
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the truss building process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in woodworking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
