Join our team of professionals to serve the needs of our patients while working for a large multi specialty ophthalmology practice! We are looking for a front office check in/check receptionist who has outstanding customer service skills! This is a position that requires someone who is reliable, exceptionally detail oriented and focused.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out
- Answer phones
- Verify insurance
- Scanning of documentation into our EMR
- Schedule appointments
- Collect Co-pays, deductibles and past due balances
- All other administrative tasks' assigned by your manager
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must work well with others and demonstrate consistent professional conduct at all times.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with patients, staff and all other healthcare professionals.
- Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude is essential.
- May travel between three locations; Ormond Beach, Palm Coast and Port Orange.
- Good computer skills/EMR experience helpful
- Well-organized with multi-tasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Medical/Ophthalmology office knowledge (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
