Ferrari Express Inc. Payroll & HR Clerk Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Payroll & HR Coordinator who excels in time management, critical thinking, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, able to follow directions precisely, take initiative, and have a genuine desire to expand their knowledge and skills in HR. HRCI or SHRM certification is preferred. This role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in HR functions, and excellent English communication abilities.
Responsibilities:

Recruit and schedule interviews with candidates.

Prepare periodic reports for management on issues like returned document problems.

Audit I-9 documents to ensure compliance with IRCA requirements.

Sort, prioritize, review for accuracy, and process incoming payroll/personnel documents.

Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.

Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

Maintain employee files.
-
Process required paperwork for employee transfers, immigration filings, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.

Assist with managing new hires and the separation process.

Respond to agency notices.

Submit and reconcile expense reports.

Research missing documentation or discrepancies.

Assist with preparing HR reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.

Maintain records and statistics for all general payroll processes.

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.

Assist in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests.

Receive and record incoming payroll documentation.

Investigate and resolve complex payroll problems according to FLSA, state wage and labor code, INS and IRS regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Input information into the online system to establish taxation status.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Education & Experience:

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or HR-related field preferred.

1-2 years of Administrative, Payroll, or Office Support experience REQUIRED.

1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type:

Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM), overtime and weekends may be required based on operational needs.
