You will be the subject-matter expert, evangelist, and influencer, working to change how the healthcare industry perceives and uses video-centric technology solutions. You will join a business development team with other vertically aligned business developer managers .

Develop relationships and opportunities in the healthcare industry for Milestone XProtect VMS Software combined with our 3rd-Party Technology Partners solutions.
You will explore and develop various opportunities while engaging diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders. From the C-Suite to the field-level users of technology, your narratives and sales activities will match the needs of the vertical with the solutions offered by the Milestone Open Platform and our Community of Technology Partners.
The ideal candidate for this remote position will be in the contiguous United States.
In this role, you will
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical sales initiatives that scale through Milestone’s more tactically focused sales efforts to drive new client acquisition and expansion by our sales teams in the Healthcare vertical in North America.
- Establish and cultivate relationships and opportunities with the target vertical's decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders; ensure a deep understanding of the vertical client’s objectives and challenges.
- Identify vertically aligned solutions and collaborate with crucial Community Technology Partners who provide integrated solutions that extend, enhance, and further empower the value of Milestone in the vertical.
- Assist in developing and delivering compelling narratives and joint-value propositions targeting specific vertical client challenges with the highest impact.
- Support all Marketing and Communications teams with the insights, strategies, and narratives needed to build a comprehensive sales and marketing program supporting the vertical initiatives.
- Be the voice and face of Milestone in the vertical community by presenting, evangelizing, and executing narratives that speak to Milestone’s ability to align and solve challenges within the vertical.
- Participate in all beneficial industry shows, events, meetings, associations, and boards to promote Milestone as a leader in the vertical, along with our culture and partner-driven mindset.
- Ensure the sales organization meets or exceeds the required annual growth targets in the vertical.
Serve as the primary liaison and subject matter expert in the Healthcare vertical.

Required Qualifications, Skills, & Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of experience and deep relationships within the healthcare vertical, primarily related to safety, security, compliance, and risk management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in physical security and/or enterprise technology sales or business development.
- Experience building strategic partnerships and alliances within the technology or vertical industry.
- Proven track record building business cases for vertically aligned solutions that accelerate growth through a focused approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management proficiency.
- Proven work ethic, a commitment to personal development, and an attitude of self-motivation.
- Enthusiastic, confident, competitive, and dedicated individual who will learn and persevere in the face of adversity.
- Ability to work virtually and collaborate internally and externally using technology, including but not limited to project management software, CRM software, virtual meeting programs, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to travel and effectively develop business across multiple regions.
Experience with leading sales tools like Salesforce and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, & Competencies
- Healthcare background is a huge plus.
- Experience with IT integrators and solutions and how to scale that in the Healthcare Vertical.
- Understanding of Public Clouds (AWS, Azure) and experience leveraging, e.g., AWS Competencies to scale the business outcome.
- Documented success of articulating a solutions approach to leverage external partnerships to scale.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

The annual on-target earnings for this position range from $171,600 to $275,000 with most candidates falling in the $200,600 to $250,000 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
