Regional Manager - Midwest
A national traffic data collection firm is seeking an experienced, responsible, and knowledgeable Regional Manager to lead and establish our Midwest operations from the ground up. This role requires someone with the energy and drive to make a meaningful impact in a growing, fast-paced company. Industry experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Spearhead the expansion of our client base across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and other nearby states. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement, industry meetings, and strategic outreach. Act as the primary representative of the company in the region, ensuring a professional and positive presence at all times. Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth and enhance market presence.
- Operations Oversight: The Regional Manager will oversee all aspects of operations in the Midwest, including resource planning, project management, and field data collection. This role involves ensuring seamless coordination and execution of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, and optimizing operational efficiency. As the operations grow, the Regional Manager will be responsible for hiring key support positions, including a Client Manager, a Field Manager, and eventually an Operations Manager to further strengthen the team and enhance operational capabilities.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support your team, including payroll, staffing, conflict resolution, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure high levels of employee engagement and productivity.
- Field Training and Support: Undergo comprehensive training in equipment, industry techniques, and company procedures. Be prepared to assist with field installations and field management when needed.
Support Team:
- Client Manager: Handles day-to-day client management.
- Operations Manager: Manages field technicians, inventory, vehicles, and scheduling.
- Field Manager: Lead installer, trains field staff, POC during installation shift.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking capabilities
- High level of computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel (Tables, Template Creation, Basic Formulas) and Outlook (Calendar, Tasks, Email Rules, General Organization)
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and confident demeanor for client interactions
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and pride in regional leadership

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
