Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders for customers
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ability to mix and create unique cocktails based on customer requests
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Please note that previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, catering, or banquet setting is preferred. Retail math skills are also beneficial for handling cash transactions accurately.
