This position is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing software, hardware and networks.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. This person should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, with a willingness to work on any technology issue, including plant equipment. Patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users is key. The primary goal for this position will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Functions
1+ years of M365 experience
Manage network servers and technology tools
Set up accounts and workstations
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Perform second level Help Desk work ensuring users get prompt and expert service
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements / Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
SQL and C++ experience are preferred
SQL Server Reporting Experience
Experience administering programs (SolidWorks, ERP Systems, Document Management Systems, EPDM)
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
Must be able to speak/read/write English effectively

This position works primarily at a desk, utilizing basic office equipment.
