Education/Accredited Programs
- High school graduate or GED required
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Healthcare specific technical diploma highly preferred
Experience/Abilities
- Hands on, patient facing experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
- Experience equivalent to 100 hours of patient care experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology preferred
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; can be obtained after hire
- Certified Nurse Assistant certification preferred.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Customer service skills consistent with organizational mission and values
- Ability to follow directions; perform routine responsibilities in a flexible, self-directed manner
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as, instructions, policies, procedures
- Ability to use math skills to compute/interpret figures related to patient care
- De-escalation training annually after hire

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $18.00 to $25.96 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
